Golden Mystics of Old Time Music

For the Love of 78 rpm Records

Mosby Discography

Curtis Mosby and His Dixieland Blue Blowers recorded eight sides for Columbia Records in 1927, 1928, and 1929, in studio sessions in Los Angeles.  Of these, six sides were released.  Mosby’s biggest selling record was his first release, “Weary Blues”, coupled with “In My Dreams” (I’m Jealous of You).  Of the three 78s recorded by Mosby, this one comes up fairly often on auction lists.  The other two are considerably more rare.

As can be heard below, Curtis Mosby and His Dixieland Blue Blowers were less of a true jazz band and more of a hot, good-time band.
